Dr. Torres received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2003.
She joined Dr. Nina's Animal Hospital in 2018 after working for 12 years as a veterinarian at a national veterinary organization. Dr. Lyda Torres speaks both English and Spanish at both our Sarasota and Parrish locations.
Dr. Torres also volunteered as a veterinary surgeon for the Animal Rescue Coalition in Sarasota performing spay and neuter surgeries for the community.
